Market position
The fresh produce floor for the Emirates, and the second location printed on the licence. Goods are seen here rather than described.
Al Aweer Central Market
Fresh produce does not have a screen price. It has a floor price that moves with arrivals, with weather at origin, and with what the other importers landed this morning. Quoting from the market rather than from a spreadsheet is the difference between a number you can hold and a number you have to revise.
Quality in this trade is decided by looking at the produce. Tell us the day and the line you want to look at and we will have it opened for you, rather than sending a photograph and asking you to take it on trust.
Vegetables, fruits, grains, cereals and legumes sit on one trade licence and one desk. A mixed programme is one order and one set of documents.
Agroha trades into the United Arab Emirates from its Dubai operations. That is the market the company is set up to serve today, and it is the market we will quote on without qualification.
We are not going to publish a map of export destinations we have not shipped to yet, or a list of countries served that exists only on a website. If you are buying from outside the Emirates, ask the desk and you will get a direct answer about whether we can serve that destination and on what terms.
Tell us the line and the volume and we will quote ex market or delivered.
