We quote only within the two activities on our trade licence. If you need a line that sits outside fresh produce, grains, cereals and legumes, say so and we will tell you plainly whether we can handle it rather than take the order and sub contract it quietly.
Onion is not a specification. Red onion, 45 mm to 65 mm, single skin, under two per cent sprouting tolerance, 25 kg mesh, loaded in a ventilated container is a specification. Everything we quote is written at that level before a price is attached to it.
Send us your existing specification sheet if you have one. If you do not, tell us the end use and the destination market and we will draft one for you to approve.
Fresh lines
Origin, variety, size or count, grade, defect tolerance, pack, pre cooling and carriage temperature.
Grains and pulses
Crop year, moisture, admixture, broken percentage, foreign matter, sortex level, bag weight and stuffing quantity.
